Josep L. Berral obtained his M.Sc degree (2007) in Computer Science (Ingenieria Superior en Informática) and his M.Sc degree (2008) in Computer Architecture from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, UPC. He is now a Ph.D student on Computer Sciences, at the Department of Software. Also he is working on applications of Machine Learning to Autonomic Computing with the Relational Algorithms, Complexity and Learning Group LARCA-UPC, and the Autonomic Research Group in the UPC High Performance Computing group.

I'm collaborating with the LARCA Research Group (Laboratori d'Algorí­smica Relacional, Complexitat i Aprenentatge) at LSI and also cooperating with the HPC (High Performance Computing Group) at DAC. My current research work focuses on the area of Autonomic Computing, which requires cross-disciplinary studies. More information can be found at LARCA LSI and HPC DAC.
