Josep L. Berral obtained his M.Sc degree (2007) in Computer Science (Ingenieria Superior en Informática) and his M.Sc degree (2008) in Computer Architecture from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, UPC. He is now a Ph.D student on Computer Sciences, at the Computer Architecture Department and at the Department of Software. Also he is working on applications of Machine Learning to Autonomic Computing with the Autonomic Research Group, in the UPC High Performance Computing group.

I'm collaborating with the HPC (High Performance Computing Group) at DAC and also cooperating with the LARCA Research Group (Laboratori d'Algorísmica Relacional, Complexitat i Aprenentatge) at LSI. My current research work focuses on the area of Autonomic Computing, which requires cross-disciplinary studies. More information can be found at HPC DAC and LARCA LSI.
