Management and maintenance of network core equipment: gigabit routers, an edge router, fast/gigabit ethernet switches and DWDM multiplexors.
Management and maintenance of the DNS server (IPv4 and IPv6). Address and name assignement as requested.
Management and maintenance to comercial internet access trough Firewall and NAT.
Core multicast maintenance.
Network design, management of new connections to the network. IPv4 and IPv6, public and private addressing desing and assignement.
Network management. Network traffic and connectivity monitoring with SNMP. Security policies management.
Demonstration workstation maintenance. Keep up to date with the video servers.
Maintenance of network management center and network technologies demonstrator.
GigaCAT web server maintenance. Frequently information updates about network configurations. Intranet updates with activities reports, traffic graphs and useful software.
Network activities support. External connections, demonstratios and tests. That includes network design, config, debugging and reporting.
Network measurement over the experimental network.
