Abreviated Resume



Ivan Rodero got the MS degree in Computer Science and Engineering by The Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) in 2004.

From 2000 to 2003 he collaborated in different research activities in the Department of Computer Architecture (DAC) at the UPC.

From 2003 to 2005 he has been involved in the CEPBA-IBM Research Institute (CIRI) research activities related to Grid Computing.

In 2005 he became a researcher of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) in the Grid and clusters group with a permanent position. He has a strong involvement in Grid research activities in European and BSC projects such as eNANOS, HPC-Europa, CoreGRID, LaGrid, and XtreemOS.

He is also a PhD Student at the Department of Computer Architecture (DAC) at the UPC, focusing his research on Cluster and Grid scheduling and resource management.

He has published several papers in international conferences, journals and workshops

Recently, in 2007, he obtained a part-time assistant professor position at the Computer Architecture Department.
