My research interests are focused on the design and architecture of general-purpose passive network monitoring systems. I am part of the Load Shedding in Network Monitoring Applications group inside the Advanced Broadband Communications Center, a research center of the UPC.
I am currently involved in the development of CoMo, a project lead from Intel Research Berkeley. The goal is to produce an open-source, general-purpose passive network monitoring system. In our group, we have been working on a crucial aspect of any network monitoring system: resource management and, in particular, how to deal with overload and prevent packet loss.
