Short bio

Pere Barlet-Ros received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 2003 and 2008, respectively. He is currently an assistant professor at the Computer Architecture Department and researcher at the Advanced Broadband Communications Center (CCABA) of the UPC. He was also a visiting researcher at NLANR/Endace, New Zealand (Winter 2004), Intel Research Cambridge, UK (Summer 2004) and Intel Research Berkeley, California (Summer 2007). His research interests are in the fields of network monitoring, traffic classification and anomaly detection.
