Choosing Rubén Tous as MSc/PhD Advisor

The DMAG (Distributed Multimedia Applications Group) of UPC-DAC is offering Doctoral positions in the fields related to "secure and standard production, management and distribution of multimedia content", including multimedia metadata use and interoperability, multimedia information search and retrieval, multimedia databases, Semantic Web, ontologies, data integration and also all aspects of security and digital management of rights.

How to proceed

Interested students are responsible for:

1) Obtaining admission at the at the UPC-DAC doctoral programme (look at http://studies.ac.upc.edu/doctorat/index,en.html for application and admittance rules),
2) Acquiring enough funds to cover all expenses related to living and studying at Barcelona (look at http://doctorat.upc.edu/beques/index.php?id=3 for application and admittance rules),
3) If necessary, settling all visa and immigration issues that might apply to foreign nationals for coming to Spain.
